Minimum tank size should be 75-gallon. Bigger is better here
The tank should be long enough rather than tall. Wider tank is preferable too.
Minimum 5 nos of discus are the most recommended. It creates a friendly habitat
Discus should be a part of a shoal. Otherwise it becomes stressed
Discus prefers comparatively warm water. 28-30°C is the most suitable temperature range.
Having a heater is a must in the discus tank.
A soft acidic water is preferable (6.0-7.0). Hardness 18 to 70 ppm
Ammonia & nitrite should be zero
Discus should not be kept with various types of fish. However, tetras, clown loaches can kept with them.
Discus are omnivore & accept a wide range of variety of food.
Brine shrimp, blood worm, aqueon flakes are the most prefred food.

Fully mature biological filter is needed
Buy all discus from any one supplier. Don't mix it
Discus eat a lot. So provide quality food to them.
